I was deeply honored to be received at the Vatican as a distinguished guest of the Galileo Foundation, including a rare personal audience with His Holiness Pope Leo XIV. Opportunities for direct conversation with the Holy Father are typically reserved for heads of state and senior diplomats, making this moment profoundly meaningful.
During our conversation, we discussed initiatives close to His Holiness’s heart, particularly his vision for artificial intelligence, youth, and the future of humanity. It was a privilege to engage in thoughtful dialogue around how technology, ethics, and compassion can coexist in the service of the greater good.
I was also honored to attend the first Papal Christmas Concert of Pope Leo XIV’s pontificate, a historic tribute celebrating the beginning of his leadership. My sincere gratitude to the Pontifical Swiss Guard, the Vatican, and the Galileo Foundation Board for their careful vetting, approval, and for extending this extraordinary opportunity.
Adding to this honor, I was seated just three chairs away from His Holiness, alongside Cardinals and senior Vatican officials, in an auditorium of thousands, a moment I will always carry with deep respect.
I was further honored by a private audience with His Eminence Cardinal Pietro Parolin, Vatican Secretary of State and the highest-ranking official in the Holy See after the Pope himself.
Our discussion touched on issues of global importance, including:
I am grateful for his time, thoughtful questions, and blessing.
The experience concluded with a private dinner in the renowned Raphael Rooms of the Vatican Museums, surrounded by the masterpieces of Raphael, Michelangelo, and Leonardo da Vinci. To share a meal in the presence of such historic works was both humbling and unforgettable.
I extend my deepest thanks to the Vatican, the Galileo Foundation, and all who made this experience possible. It was an honor to engage in conversations that transcend borders, faiths, and generations, focused on responsibility, stewardship, and the future we are shaping together.
